Side Effects
All forms of therapy can have side effects – however, they do not occur in every patient. We distinguish between "known" side effects and "other, expected but not yet observed" side effects and risks.
Known side effects
- Temporary vertigo, increased vertigo or balance disturbance (especially at the beginning, soon subsides)
- Temporary nausea, loss of appetite
- Temporary fatigue
- Temporary headache and neck pain
- Temporary blurred or tunnel-like vision
- Temporary musculoskeletal pain, tension in muscles or back
- Temporary knee pain, temporary tinnitus
- Occasionally longer-lasting increase in vertigo
Known risks: none observed so far.
Expected but not yet observed side effects & risks
- Fall
- Cardiovascular syncope
- Increase in blood pressure
- Connective tissue or muscle injuries of the musculoskeletal system
- Edema (swelling)
- Nasal mucosa inflammation
- Aversion to psychotherapy
- Incorrect performance of exercises due to too-small text, confusing descriptions or unclear operation
Contraindications, interactions & further notes

Interactions: No known interactions with medications, foods or dietary supplements; do not use together with medications that increase the risk of falls.
Pregnancy: Vertidisan must not be used.
Driving/operating machinery: No restriction, as long as no vertigo is triggered.
